Job Description
After my inspection, this work was not rising damp but penetrating damp due to defective pointing and very damaged brickwork. The solution was to water-proof the wall from inside the house by removing the damp plaster fit membrane and then plaster boards. Other trades had to repoint the outside wall to make it more watertight. Then we applied a Storm Dry water repent to the brickwork to repel the water.
